Great cookbook!

I picked this up on a whim because I liked the simplicity of the recipes and their philosophy that elegant food doesn't have to be complicated.  
The book focuses on two aspects of eating: the food we eat everyday and food we eat while entertaining.  It offers suggestions on how to narrow that gap, by following a general principle that any form of entertaining should be relaxed, yet rewarding.  An idea which appeals to me greatly!
